About us
We are primarily kombi enthusiasts who are happy to share the magic that these cars bring. Our aim is to help turn your event into a special day, so we will take care of you whilst driving you there.
We want to help you make your special day as exclusive as possible, and what better way to have our chauffer driven, 1963 split-screen kombi to give your occasaion a special lift!
At Kamberra Kombi, we own the vehicle, so we can guarantee that our vehicle is well maintained, and sparkling on the day of your occasion.
We are an ACT Accredited Hire Car Service (RHC194). Additionally, for your peace of mind, our driver also holds a current ACT ‘Working with Vulnerable People’ card, valid until 2020.
The Kombi seat 7 guests, plus the driver, making 8 in total. We recommend that we carry 6 guests because this makes it more comfortable for everyone. In some cases the bride and bridesmaids may want more space – so some wedding parties prefer to travel as a group of only 6 or fewer, when looking for a Kombi for hire, Contact us for advice on this

School Formals
Make an entrance and arrive at your school formal in a Kombi!
Kombi hire makes sense for school formals for a number of reasons. Photographers enjoy working with Kombis because they can line-up a number of guests and the car is still visible, whereas smaller or lower cars get lost when group photos are taken with the car in the background.
Our Kombis can seat 7 guests, which means we can transport a bigger group to the venue.
NOTE: We provide a careful and courteous driver for you – so one less thing to worry about.

Pricing
Wedding package
MINIMUM 3 HOURS 550.00 + GST = 3 hours / package. Then, $120.00 per hour after this
Getaway Car – after the reception
225.00 + GST = 1 hour package we will collect you after the reception, so that you leave in style too, and take you to your evening’s accommodation.
Formal package
225.00 + GST = 1 hour formal package.
Beetle hire
For that special occasion let us take you out to dinner or a romantic wine tour for 2
Benny – $150.00 p/h + GST
